Geometry Scavenger Hunt

You are on a scavenger hunt looking for Geometry shapes in the real world. You will complete this project with a partner. Open a new tab,  Go to the web site above, and add photos according to the directions above to your Power Point. At the conclusion of your search, you will present your findings in the form of a power point presentation. SAVE YOUR POWER POINT in the p drive>constantine>constantinestudentfolders>1 geometry powerpoints  THE file name should be your names.


• Only one geometry object per slide.

• Objects must be appropriately LABELED!

• Include the mathematical definition of each object on your slide.

• Don’t forget a cover slide with team members’ names. Once complete, you should have seven slides.

• Each image captured may be used only ONCE. For example, if you take a picture of something that represents a square, you cannot use it again to represent a quadrilateral. You must find a second image.

• Both partners must participate in the hunt and presentation. This is a team effort!

Make an Ecology Power Point

Today in computer lab you are going to use your science notes to make an Ecology powerpoint.

Make sure you follow the guidelines below.

  1. Your powerpoint needs to include at least 6 slides that answer the following questions:      

Slide 1: Title page

  Slide 2: What is an ecosystem? Add an EXAMPLE of an ecosystem with pictures! LABEL which ecosystem you chose.

  Slide 3: Who lives in an ecosystem? Identify the BIOTIC and ABIOTIC things in your ecosystem.

  Slide 4: What is a food chain? Give an example. Click here to see food chain diagrams.

  Slide 5: What is a food web? Give an example. Click here to see food web diagrams.

  Slide 6: Your choice

  2. You need to use each of these science vocabulary words. Clicking on each word will take you to an image page for each.

Loyalists vs Patriots Project

Plan a topic you would like to collect data on. Decide who you will be collecting from. Decide how you will collect your data and create a chart. Go collect your data, when you are done, draw a bar and line plot graph of your data. Show me your drawings. When done you can watch this video save and print out your data collections.
